What do I need?
An instrument
Student must have daily access to an acoustic piano or a good touch sensitive 88 keys electric piano or keyboard.
Time and Commitment
Lessons are scheduled by semester. Students are required to attend and play for weekly lessons for the full semester. Practice regularly for their assigned material. The amount of needed practice time depends on how advanced the student is. Consistent daily practice is the best way to improve.
Homework
Students are required to read their lesson notebooks at each practice session to review all instructions and reminders.
Books and materials
Tuition does not include cost of the piano, technique, music theory books and materials.
Monthly Piano lessons
This option is the best for students with long term goals who wish to take lessons for an extended period of time in order to master their subject and skills. Monthly lessons will be scheduled at the same day/time slot each week with maximum of two rescheduled lessons in a semester with 24 hour notice. All students are required to take a weekly 60 minute Music Theory Club Class. 30 minute lessons -$144/month and 60 minute Music Theory Club Class $235 45 minute lessons- $216/month and 60 minute Music Theory Club Class $235 60 minute lessons -$280/month and 60 minute Music Theory Club Class $235
Drop In Piano lessons
This option is the best for students with short term goals who wish to take lessons to prepare for an upcoming recital, auditions or performances. Drop in lessons can be scheduled at least in 24 hours but not more than 1-2 weeks in advance of the lesson time. Drop in lessons do not guarantee the student of the same time or day. If they wish to take more than one lesson, it will be scheduled upon availability. 30 minute lesson -$45/lesson 45 minute lesson- $72/lesson 60 minute lesson -$100/lesson
